What is a Mentor?
A mentor is a specialist who can give your business a customised, individual support service that meets your specific requirements. We take into account your company’s size, stage of development and the business sector in which you operate. We recognize that each company has its own unique mix of challenges, opportunities and problems.
What does a Mentor do?
You are the decision maker. The role of the Mentor is to listen and advise, to suggest options and help you to prioritise opportunities. The Mentor gives you a fresh and objective perspective that is backed by significant experience – while you remain in the driving seat throughout.
Confidentiality
Mutual trust, openness and confidentiality form the basis of the relationship between a Mentor and a company. The Mentor needs to have a detailed understanding of your company’s background, current position and future plans in order to give you relevant comment and advice.
Every Mentor signs a strict confidentiality agreement before taking on assignments and will not discuss your business with third parties without your express permission. Confidentiality works both ways: your Mentor will candidly discuss relevant past experiences and insights with you in the expectation that you will treat such information with discretion.
Feedback
The Mentor will provide periodic progress reports on the assignment. In addition, the Mentor Network will seek your views on the extent to which your objectives have been met.
