Innovate is a joint programme between Omagh Enterprise Company and Leitrim County Enterprise Board that provides you with the opportunity to improve the profitability of your business.
Innovate is part-financed by the European Union through the Interreg IIIA Programme managed for the Special EU Programmes Body by the ICBAN Partnership with funding of €856,391
How does it work?
There are two dedicated Business Innovation Officers, Johnny Beirne in Leitrim and Sharon Tracey-Collins in Omagh, who work closely with companies to identify aspects which they might want to improve. This generally takes place though visits and through discussions on what is a priority for each business. Innovate offers best practice training on key subjects, and in-depth mentoring for companies based on their interest and need. Topics covered are, developing new products, branding, process efficiency intellectual property and new technology for business. The Business Innovation Officer will be constantly looking for other areas where Innovate can add value, such as new process or technology and will identify the most beneficial mentor for your business.
